Hundreds of Jordanians gathered in solidarity marches across several governorates after Friday prayers, voicing their support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon amid the ongoing Israeli Occupation's brutal aggression.

The demonstrations took place in the capital Amman, as well as in Irbid and Zarqa, drawing widespread participation.

Protesters condemned the continued assault by Israeli Occupation forces on Gaza and Lebanon, which has caused extensive destruction to mosques, churches, schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.

The demonstrators decried the international community’s silence on the attacks and criticized the perceived double standards in addressing the bombardment and its humanitarian toll.

Calls were made for decisive international and Arab intervention to halt the aggression and support the besieged populations in Gaza and Lebanon.

Highlighting Jordan’s role, participants praised the leadership of King Abdullah II, emphasizing that the Kingdom’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause reflects its deep commitment to justice and human rights.

Since the escalation in Gaza, Jordan’s position has stood out as a strong statement of solidarity with Palestinians.

Protesters also acknowledged the widespread appreciation Jordan’s stance has received from both Palestinian and global communities. They reaffirmed the country’s enduring role as a key ally of Palestine, vowing that Jordan will continue to stand at the forefront in defense of Palestinian rights.
