Day 400: "Israel" continues attacks on Gaza schools, hospitals, civilian sites
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued its relentless assault on the Gaza Strip for the 400th consecutive day, intensifying attacks that target daily life and vital infrastructure.
This ongoing campaign led to widespread destruction and a severe humanitarian crisis, particularly in northern Gaza, where the IOF focused its operations. Hospitals across the region face a critical shortage of medical supplies and fuel, with healthcare workers warning of a potential collapse if aid is not delivered soon.
In the early hours of Saturday, IOF airstrikes hit multiple areas in Gaza, leading to dozens of casualties. The most recent strikes targeted Fahd Al-Sabah School, a designated shelter for displaced families in eastern Gaza City, causing heavy civilian losses.
In response, Palestinian resistance factions announced a series of strategic counterattacks, including ambushes and targeted strikes on IOF military vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported a staggering increase in casualties, stating that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli Occupation assault has reached 43,508, with an additional 102,684 injured since the escalation began on October 7, 2023.
Health officials warn that this figure may be even higher, as many victims remain trapped under rubble and in areas unreachable by emergency responders due to active hostilities and logistical barriers.
