Hamas comments on Amsterdam clashes
Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior leader of the Hamas movement, stated that the recent violent incidents in Amsterdam following a UEFA Europa League match highlight the spontaneous global repercussions caused by ongoing Israeli Occupation attacks on Gaza.
In a press statement on Friday, Abu Zuhri remarked, "The events in Amsterdam demonstrate that the continuous genocide in Gaza, witnessed live by the world without any international intervention to halt it or hold its perpetrators accountable, is likely to lead to such spontaneous consequences."

He added that stopping what he described as the "Zionist genocide" in Gaza is essential for respecting human rights and ensuring both regional and global security and peace.
Abu Zuhri's comments come amid heightened tensions following a clash between 'Israeli' and Arab fans in Amsterdam, as outrage over the situation in Gaza spills over into international events.
