Oil derivatives pricing committee adjusts fuel prices for November
The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting on Thursday to set local fuel prices for the period of November 1-30.
The committee reviewed global crude oil and fuel prices for October, comparing them to those in September, and observed a rise in the global prices of gasoline (both 90 and 95 octane) and diesel during October.
After applying the pricing formula based on these global rates, the committee determined the following adjustments: an increase of 5 fils per liter for 90-octane gasoline, 15 fils per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 20 fils per liter for diesel.
As a result, starting in November, the price of 90-octane gasoline will be set at 865 fils per liter (up from 860), 95-octane gasoline at 1,110 fils per liter (up from 1,095), and diesel at 675 fils per liter (up from 655). The price of kerosene will remain unchanged at 620 fils per liter, and household gas cylinders (12.5 kg) will stay fixed at JD7 per cylinder.
