Hamas says destroyed several “Israeli” tanks as north Gaza battles intensify

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said Wednesday it had destroyed two “Israeli” Merkava tanks with high-explosive devices and a third tank with a "Yassin-105" rocket in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

The Brigades also reported targeting an “Israeli” bulldozer with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted on its path – three “Israeli” military bulldozers in Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza were also targeted.

Earlier today, Al-Qassam said it struck an “Israeli” Merkava tank with a "Shawaz" explosive and then targeted the maintenance crew upon their arrival.

Rising casualties among “Israeli” soldiers

According to the latest figures, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reported that 777 officers and soldiers have been killed since October 7, with 365 deaths occurring since the ground operations began on October 27.

The IOF also reported 5,206 soldiers injured since the start of the conflict in Gaza: 3,151 with minor injuries, 1,288 with moderate injuries, and 767 with critical injuries.
