Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for a joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit to be held in Saudi Arabia on November 11 to discuss the ongoing “Israeli” aggression on Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, as well as current developments in the region.

"As part of the Kingdom’s ongoing monitoring of the current situation in the region and the continued unjust Israeli aggression on the occupied Palestinian territories, which has expanded to affect the Republic of Lebanon in an attempt to violate its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and considering the serious repercussions of this aggression on regional security and stability, Saudi Arabia reiterates its condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing crimes and violations against the Palestinian people and the assaults against our Lebanese brothers,” the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added, "In continuation of the joint Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, and following directives from King Salman, along with the efforts of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, in coordination with his Arab and Islamic counterparts, Saudi Arabia invites a joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit in the Kingdom on Jumada al-Awwal 9, 1446 AH, corresponding to November 11, 2024, to discuss the continued Israeli aggression on Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, as well as current regional developments."
