In line with royal directives to evacuate Jordanian citizens from Lebanon and ensure their safe return, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today the evacuation of 10 Jordanian citizens from Lebanon.

They were transported aboard a Royal Jordanian Air Force military aircraft carrying essential food, relief supplies, and medical provisions – a statement by the Foreign Ministry said.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah stated that Jordan has so far dispatched 14 aid flights to support the Lebanese people, with two military planes landing today at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport.

In addition, seven flights have been dedicated to evacuating Jordanian citizens in Lebanon, bringing the total number of evacuated citizens to 174.

These evacuations include all those registered on the electronic platform at the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut.

Since early August, 3,353 Jordanians have returned home from Lebanon via Queen Alia International Airport, with additional numbers arriving overland through the Jaber border crossing – the statement added.

The evacuation operations are part of a coordinated plan between the Ministry, the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, the security agencies, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management to ensure the safe repatriation of Jordanians amid ongoing hostilities in Lebanon.

Ambassador Qudah emphasized that the Jordanian Embassy in Lebanon remains fully engaged in assisting citizens with evacuations, including via Syria for those returning overland. The embassy continuously monitors the conditions of Jordanians in Lebanon, confirming that all are safe and no injuries have been reported.

The Ministry reiterates its call for Jordanians in Lebanon who wish to leave to register immediately through the following link and to reach out to the Ministry or Embassy for assistance at any time via the numbers below:
