'Israeli' airstrike in southern Lebanon claims lives of 8
Lebanese Ministry of Health has reported the death of eight Lebanese people and injuries to 25 others due to an 'Israeli' airstrike on the town of Haret Saida in southern Lebanon.
Additionally, the 'Israeli' military has warned residents in several villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate their homes.
In a statement on Sunday, the army indicated that it is preparing to bomb the villages of Tuffah, Ghassaniyah, Babliyah, Zarariyah, Qusaybah, Haboush, Kafr Rumman, Arnoun, Himar, Khirbet, Arab al-Lawziyah, Marwaniyah, and Deir Suryan.
The military alleged that activities by Hezbollah in these areas necessitate a strong response from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
Residents of the aforementioned villages have been urged to leave their homes immediately and move to the north of the Litani River. The army warned that anyone found near Hezbollah members or facilities is putting their life in danger.
The military further claimed that it would notify residents when it is safe to return home, depending on the situation.
