US deploys F-16s to Middle East amid concerns of Iranian retaliation
United States dispatched F-16 fighter jets to a base in the Middle East on Friday in anticipation of a potential Iranian response to an impending Israeli Occupation attack.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced via X (formerly Twitter) that the aircraft from the 480th Fighter Squadron, stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, have arrived in the area under its responsibility.
Axios correspondent Barak Ravid tweeted, "F-16 reinforcements from the US Air Force have arrived today from a base in Germany to a base in the Middle East." He noted that this deployment is part of preparations for a possible Iranian response to the anticipated 'Israeli' strike.
The British newspaper Times reported Thursday, citing an informed intelligence source, that Israeli Occupation postponed its retaliatory response to Iran due to the need to adjust certain strategies. This decision followed a leak last week of sensitive military information regarding a potential 'Israeli' response.
