Blinken visits Middle East for peace talks

US State Department confirmed that Secretary of State Antony Blinken is traveling to Tel Aviv and other Middle Eastern countries today.

Blinken's visit aims to emphasize the importance of ending the ongoing war and securing the release of captives in Gaza, according to a statement from the State Department on Monday.

The statement highlighted that Blinken will discuss the need for a diplomatic solution between Israeli Occupation and Hezbollah, as well as post-war plans for Gaza.

Additionally, he will stress the necessity of providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
