Digital Economy Ministry clarifies military service postponement at airport.
The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) announced that the Comprehensive Government Service Centre at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) will postpone the issuance of military service booklets on Friday for those born in Jordan or whose parents were born in Jordan.
The ministry stated via its X account that other days will be open for all Jordanians. They also advised individuals to make an appointment in advance through the Sanad app to ensure a smooth process for postponing military service.
The military service booklet remains valid.
The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces emphasized that Jordanian males aged 18-40 should rectify their status and obtain a valid military service booklet to avoid travel delays.
Additionally, males over 40 should ensure they have a military service exemption certificate. If lost or not obtained, they should visit the Mobilization and Popular Army Division at any time to rectify their status. Presenting this certificate is not required for travel.
