Mild autumn weather expected across Jordan
Temperatures across Jordan on Monday are expected to be around their seasonal averages, with moderate autumn weather prevailing in most areas of the country.
The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience relatively warmer conditions. Winds will be moderate and northwesterly, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department's (JMD) forecast.
For Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather is forecast to remain mild and autumnal in most regions, with warmer conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue to be moderate and northwesterly.
On Thursday, a cool air mass is expected to affect the Kingdom, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures. The weather will be mild and autumn-like in most regions, while conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively warm. Low-altitude clouds will appear, and northwesterly winds may become occasionally brisk.
Today’s temperatures for East Amman will range between 29°C and 16°C, West Amman 27°C to 14°C, northern highlands 25°C to 14°C, and Al Sharah mountains 24°C to 13°C. In the Badia region, temperatures will reach 32°C by day and drop to 17°C at night, while the plains will see a range of 29°C to 16°C.
In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will be between 34°C and 22°C, and in the southern Jordan Valley, between 36°C and 24°C. The Dead Sea will see highs of 35°C and lows of 23°C, with Aqaba experiencing similar conditions at 35°C by day and 23°C overnight.
