A young woman in her twenties died, and another sustained serious injuries, following a hit-and-run accident near Al-Zumailat in Al-Muwaqqar of Amman on Sunday morning.
According to an official source, the incident involved two women in their twenties. Security forces and civil defense teams responded promptly to the scene of the accident.
The injured women were transported to Jameel Al-Totangi Hospital, where one was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The condition of the second woman remains serious.
Authorities reported that the driver involved in the accident has surrendered to the police station, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
