Jordan condemns “Israeli” attack on UN peacekeepers in south Lebanon
Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the repeated “Israeli “attacks on United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the Naqoura region of southern Lebanon, which have resulted in the injury of two UN soldiers.

In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry called the attacks a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and UN Security Council Resolution 1701, demanding accountability for those responsible.
Spokesperson Dr. Sufyan Qudah stressed the urgent need for an immediate cessation of aggression against Lebanon and warned of the dire consequences that could push the region toward disaster.
Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s unwavering support for Lebanon's security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens, while rejecting Israeli aggression against the country.
He also emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of UN peacekeeping forces and the full implementation of Resolution 1701.
Expressing Jordan's solidarity, Qudah extended sympathy to the governments and people of Indonesia and Sri Lanka, wishing the injured soldiers a swift recovery.
