Hezbollah official survives assassination attempt amid 'Israeli' airstrikes in Beirut
A source close to Hezbollah confirmed that Wafiq Safa, Hezbollah’s head of liaison and coordination, survived an assassination attempt carried out by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in Beirut on Thursday, according to a Roya correspondent.
The correspondent earlier reported that IOF launched two airstrikes in the heart of Beirut on Thursday evening, marking the third attack on the city since the aggression against Lebanon began on September 23.

Dozens of ambulances rushed to the scene of the strikes as thick clouds of smoke filled the skies. According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, the preliminary death toll from the airstrikes stands at 22, with 117 others injured.
The first strike targeted a building in the Ras Al-Nabaa – Noueiri area, while the second hit an apartment in the Burj Abi Haidar neighborhood on Al-Mamoun Street.
Hebrew media described the operation as an exceptional assassination attempt, with Channel 12 later confirming that Safa was the intended target.
