Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II arrived at Amman International Stadium to attend the World Cup 2026 qualifier between the Jordanian national football team and South Korea.

The match, part of the third round of qualifiers, kicked off with a high level of anticipation as fans gathered to support the Jordanian team.

The match is a crucial fixture in the Asian qualifiers, with both teams vying for a spot in the 2026 World Cup. The game began with a scoreless draw as both teams sought to establish dominance on the field.

Jordan's head coach, Jamal Salami, announced the team’s starting lineup, which includes: Yazeed Abu Leila, Hossam Abu Thahab, Yazan Al Arab, Abdullah Nassib, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Nour Al Rawabdeh, Nizar Al Rashdan, Ihsan Haddad, Mohannad Abu Taha, Ali Alwan, and Mahmoud Mardi.

The Jordanian team, also known as "Nashama," has been performing well in the qualifiers, sharing the top spot in their group alongside South Korea and Iraq, all with 4 points. Kuwait, Palestine, and Oman follow in the rankings. Only the top two teams from each group will advance directly to the World Cup, while the teams finishing third and fourth will compete in another round.

As the match progresses, fans and officials alike are eager to see how Jordan will perform in this critical encounter, which could significantly impact their World Cup aspirations.
