The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), represented by the Royal Medical Services, received medical treatments and equipment from the Federal Republic of Germany on Tuesday – a statement by the JAF said.

The handover took place in the presence of the German Ambassador to Amman, Dr. Bertram von Moltke, and Director General of the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Dr. Yousef Zureikat. The supplies are destined for Jordan's field hospitals in Gaza.

German Ambassador von Moltke highlighted, "With today's delivery, German humanitarian aid has provided 10 tons of medical supplies and medications to Jordanian field hospitals in Gaza since 2023."

He praised the dedication of the Royal Medical Services in delivering critical aid to civilians in need and reaffirmed Germany's continued support through additional humanitarian shipments to the Jordanian hospitals in Gaza.

Brigadier General Zureikat, on behalf of the Jordanian Armed Forces, expressed gratitude to the German government for its support, emphasizing the importance of intensified international cooperation during crises.

He noted that such cooperation enables the Royal Medical Services to deliver high-quality care efficiently, saving lives and alleviating suffering in Gaza.

The Jordanian Armed Forces continue to dispatch humanitarian aid convoys in collaboration with allied and friendly nations, ensuring the sustained operation of Jordanian field hospitals and the delivery of much-needed relief to the people of Gaza amid the ongoing difficult conditions.
