Houthis say successfully targeted “Israeli” military posts with several drones

The Houthis said today that several drones were launched at what they are “targets of the Israeli enemy” in the port city of Jaffa and also Eilat.

Houthi spokesperson Yahya Sare’e said that a “Jaffa” drone was launched at a military position of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

Additionally, they launched four “Samad-4” drones at the southern port city of Eilat.

Both operations successfully achieved their goals – the statement said.

Today, A sea drone –also known as an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV)– fired from Yemen hit a ship off the port city of Hodedia on Tuesday, which led to a puncturing of a ballast tank.

"The vessel has been hit by an uncrewed surface vessel. Number 6 port ballast tank has been punctured," the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMRO), run by Britain's Royal Navy, said in a statement – cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).

Yesterday, the Houthis announced that their air defenses successfully shot down a US MQ-9 drone while it was conducting what they described as "hostile missions" over Saada Governorate.

This marks the eleventh MQ-9 drone the Houthis claim to have downed.

The US military confirmed the loss of an MQ-9 drone but provided no further details.
