The situation in the region has been particularly volatile, with continuous threats from Iran to retaliate against Israeli Occupation following the recent assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas. These threats have escalated fears of a broader conflict.
Adding to the tension, former US President Donald Trump, who is also a candidate in the upcoming presidential election, stated earlier that he had heard reports of a potential Iranian attack on Tel Aviv later that night.
Meanwhile, the United States has deployed additional fighter jets to the region in support of Israeli Occupation following reports that Iran may respond as early as Monday to the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Iran, for its part, has blamed Israeli Occupation for Haniyeh’s assassination and vowed to retaliate. The killing of Haniyeh occurred just hours after an Israeli Occupation airstrike on Beirut's southern suburb, which resulted in the death of prominent Hezbollah leader Fouad Shaker.
