Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza continues for the 282nd day
The Israeli Occupation's aggression on Gaza entered its 282nd day, resulting in over 38,443 Palestinian deaths, mostly women and children, and more than 88,481 injuries, according to preliminary figures.
"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed they targeted Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif in the Mawsawi massacre in Khan Younis, a claim denied by Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya.
Al-Hayya responded, stating, "Mohammed Deif hears you and mocks your false claims. The Israeli Occupation continues its killing spree, targeting children and women."
Hamas urged the Palestinian Authority leadership to retract statements that absolve the Israeli Occupation of responsibility, equate victim and oppressor, and justify the Occupation's crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli Occupation's military reported 682 soldiers killed since October 7, with 326 deaths since the ground operation began on October 27. Additionally, 4,157 soldiers were injured, with 617 in critical condition, 1,047 moderately injured, and 2,493 with minor injuries.
Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation's violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation initiated a military operation named "Iron Swords," conducting intense airstrikes on various areas in Gaza, resulting in hundreds of deaths, thousands of injuries, and extensive destruction of buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.
