Jordan strongly condemns Israeli Occupation's Mawasi massacre in Gaza
Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israeli Occupation's ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip and its systematic targeting of civilians and refugee shelters.
The latest incident involved Israeli Occupation Forces targeting tents housing displaced persons in Khan Yunis, an area previously deemed 'a safe zone' by Israeli Occupation itself, resulting in numerous Palestinian casualties.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, expressed Jordan's condemnation of Israeli Occupation’s persistent violations of international law and humanitarian law, its defiance of the international community's calls to end the conflict, and its genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. He also criticized Israeli Occupation's obstruction of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
Ambassador Al-Qudah emphasized the urgent need for the international community to take immediate and effective action to provide protection for the Palestinian people and for hospitals and relief organizations. He highlighted the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, exacerbated by the ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression since October 7.
