Victim's sister reveals bullying led to fatal gastric sleeve surgery

The girl's sister, Lama, explained that her sister suffered from obesity and faced bullying from her schoolmates. The family saw an advertisement for gastric sleeve surgery and contacted the doctor, who assured them that the procedure was simple and without risk.

The deceased girl's sister recounted that they visited the hospital last Saturday, where a blood sample was taken for necessary tests. However, the surgery began about four minutes later, before the test results were available.

The operation lasted about two hours. Afterward, the medical team informed the family that the girl had been moved to the intensive care unit in critical condition and would likely pass away within hours.

The family is calling for an investigation by the relevant authorities to determine the cause of death and hold those responsible accountable.
