The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, Nawaf Al-Ajarmeh, stated that all leaked images claiming to be from the upcoming Arabic exam for Tawjihi students scheduled for Thursday are false.

Al-Ajarmeh emphasized that the ministry will pursue those who publish and promote these misleading images, which aim to distract students and impact their exam performance. He assured that strict procedures are in place to protect exam questions and prevent any form of leakage before the test.

A total of 148,968 students are set to take the Arabic language exam for the General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) across various streams. The exam will be held in a morning session starting at 10 AM. The distribution of students is as follows: scientific stream 61,264, literary stream 69,162, Sharia stream 94, industrial stream 6,036, home economics stream 7,839, agricultural stream 3,050, and hospitality stream 1,523 students.

The Ministry of Education has issued several guidelines and instructions to ensure smooth and secure exams for the current year 2024. The ministry confirmed the addition of 10 extra minutes to each exam paper to compensate for the time spent distributing the papers.

The guidelines urge students to arrive at the exam hall one hour before the session starts. School gates will close at 10 AM for the first session and 1 PM for the second session, and no student will be allowed entry after these times.

Students are reminded to bring their civil status ID or passport (for Jordanian students), passport (for non-Jordanian students), or security card (for Syrian students without a passport) to every exam. The ministry trusts that students will adhere to the exam regulations, which prohibit bringing mobile phones, electronic watches, and any exam-related materials like paper scraps into the exam hall to avoid administrative penalties.

The Ministry of Education encouraged students to focus on their studies and ignore rumors, advising them to seek information from official sources.
