The Greater Amman Municipality Sunday launched a campaign in cooperation with security agencies and the Public Safety Committee of the Capital Governorate.

The campaign focused on removing street stalls and sidewalk encroachments in Al-Wehdat camp, east of Amman.

"Roya’s" camera captured the campaign targeting all forms of encroachments on sidewalks and pedestrian areas, following reports from the Public Safety Committee on violations affecting citizen safety.

The campaign aimed to free up sidewalks and roadside areas for safe pedestrian use and ensure smooth traffic flow in the camp. Additionally, it sought to eliminate visual distortions caused by these encroachments and maintain the aesthetic appeal of the area.

The campaign was part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior and the Greater Amman Municipality to improve the urban environment in Amman.
