Gallant heads to Washington at invitation of Biden Administration

“Israeli” Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, will travel to Washington, DC today, Sunday, at the invitation of the Biden administration, and will met key figures such the US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, CIA Director Bill Burns, and US Special Envoy to Lebanon Lebanon Amos Hochstein.

According to a statement issued by Gallant's office last Wednesday, he will be heading to Washington on his first official visit since the outbreak of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, at the invitation of the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin.

Gallant will meet with Austin at the Pentagon to engage in an in-depth dialogue on security issues, including developments in the war on Gaza, strengthening forces, areas of bilateral military cooperation, and humanitarian issues - the statement said.
