Saudi Arabia has affirmed that if the dust continues, the sighting of the Ramadan crescent will be hindered, while most observatories in Saudi Arabia are witnessing dusty conditions, amidst anticipation of decisive moments and announcements.

The Saudi monitoring station pointed out that if the dust persists, the sighting of the Ramadan crescent will be difficult, and Monday will complete the month of Sha'ban.

It is noted that in an attempt to sight the blessed Ramadan crescent, astronomical imaging technology has been utilized from the Al-Khatim Astronomical Observatory, distinguished by its exceptional power and ability to observe difficult crescents and celestial bodies in broad daylight.

Meanwhile, the astronomical center at Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia has announced that the sighting of the Ramadan crescent on the evening of Sunday, March 10, 2024, is confirmed, unless the crescent is obscured by clouds.
