Since October 7 last year, the number of detainees in the West Bank rose to 8,480, according to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners Club.

The Club also stated that the arrest operations carried out by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) over the past 24 hours included a woman and children totalling up to 20 Palestinians to be detained.

The arrests also included former prisoners. Furthermore, one of the detainees was a girl from Jerusalem and was released later.

The Club reported that the arrests spanned the provinces of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, and Jerusalem.

These operations involved extensive abuse of the detainees and their families, along with the destruction and damage of homes.

The total reported includes those arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those held as hostages.

The Prisoners' Club added that the data on arrest cases include both those whom the IOF had continued to detain and those who were subsequently released.
