Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, Mayor of Amman, unveiled new transportation initiatives on Sunday, introducing electric buses and announcing plans for a tram service connecting the Al-Mahatta area to the downtown museum district.

Shawarbeh announced that 15 electric buses will be operational on the streets of Amman, by the end of this year, noting that the transition project to electric buses aligns with the implementation of the Economic Modernization Vision.
