Khan Yunis is Hamas’ capital in south Gaza, claims Hagari

The military spokesperson for the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), Daniel Haggari, stated ongoing fighting is concentrated in Khan Yunis, which is the “Hamas capital in the south.”

He further claimed that 2,000 Hamas fighters have been killed either above the ground or underground since the IOF began operating in Khan Yunis in December, 2023.

He continued, "We are fighting above and below the ground, and we have arrested 300 terrorism suspects who provide valuable information."
