Blinken arrives in Qatar amidst Middle Eastern diplomatic tour

United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has arrived in Qatar in continuation of his diplomatic tour of the Middle East - aimed to “de-escalate” the region amidst the ongoing Israeli Occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Blinken’s first stop was in Jordan, where he met with His Majesty King Abdullah II. He is set to meet with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, and then with Prime Minister of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani.

Blinken will then visit the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Israeli Occupation, the West Bank, and Egypt lastly on Jan. 11.
