The General Director of the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), Nisreen Qatamish, confirmed that, up to the moment, no cancer patients from the Gaza Strip have arrived in Jordan.

Qatamish told Roya Sunday that there are difficulties in evacuating patients from Gaza, and they do not have information on whether they have left the sector or not.

She added that the center's main concern is the health condition of the patients, noting that they are kept informed about their health status through the doctors overseeing their treatment in Gaza.

Authorities are facing challenges in expediting the evacuation of seven children with advanced-stage cancer in Gaza for treatment at KHCC, among 41 patients the center committed to treating.

Earlier, the director of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza, Subhi Sukeik, confirmed that the lack of treatment is causing the daily death of cancer patients in the hospital.

Sukeik stated that the hospital has not received any aid to continue the treatment of cancer patients.
