'Palestinians reach southern part of occupied Ashkelon,' says Hamas

On the second day of Operation Aqsa Typhoon, announced by the Qassam Brigades on Saturday morning, the spokesperson for Qassam, Abu Obaida, made a statement.

The operation resulted in numerous casualties among Israeli Occupation soldiers and settlers.

Abu Obaida confirmed that several soldiers were captured during the operation's second day and noted that Qassam fighters were able to reach the southern part of occupied Ashkelon.

Additionally, he mentioned that the Qassam Brigades had evidence of the Israeli Occupation army's mistreatment of Jewish prisoners.
