Israeli Occupation settlers fenced off a tract of land between the illegal Israeli Occupation colonial settlements of 'Maskiot' and 'Rotem' in the northern Jordan Valley Tuesday, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to local activists, this usually comes before they take over a piece of land.

The head of al-Maleh village council in the Northern Jordan Valley Mahdi Daraghmeh said that a group of Israeli Occupation settlers placed a barbered wire on a tract of Palestinian-owned land in order to prevent Palestinians from reaching their land.

Daraghmeh said settlers are intending to seize more Palestinian lands for settlement purposes.

He noted that Palestinians have been receiving threats over the past few days to leave their lands and homes.
