The leader of the opposition in the Israeli Occupation Yair Lapid Wednesday told the official radio that concluding a deal and the return of the captives is much more important than any military operation in Rafah.

On May 6, Tel Aviv announced the start of a military operation in Rafah, describing it as "limited in scope," before the Israeli Occupation army announced its control over the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, which connects the Gaza Strip with Egypt.

The aggression of the Israeli Occupation army on the Gaza Strip entered its 222nd day, coinciding with the occupation's bombing of several areas in the Strip, resulting in martyrs and injured.

In the same context, the Palestinian resistance inflicted heavy losses on soldiers and equipment.
