Italian tourist dies in Petra

An Italian tourist died after falling from a height of 25 meters in Petra after he was hospitalized Friday at Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Hospital.

A medical source told Roya Saturday that after the body of the tourist was found he had several fractures and wounds in various parts of his body, which led to his death.

Notably, Petra Archaeological Park constantly stresses to visitors and tourists not to take paths that are not intended for tourists, in order to ensure the safety of visitors.
