The International Astronomical Center (IAC) announced that the crescent moon of the Holy month of Ramadan will be sighted today at 7:06 pm.

The Secretary General of the General Ifta Department Ahmed Al-Hasanat told Roya that he will announce the results of the monitoring Monday evening.

Astronomically, Ramadan is expected to begin Thursday (March 23), provided that the crescent of the holy month will be sighted after sunset Tuesday, Shaaban 29 1444 AH, corresponding to March 21, 2023.

According to astronomical predictions, the moon will set before the sun in all countries of the region, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, and Egypt, making it almost impossible to see.
