Qatari investments in Jordan value at USD two billion

Investment Minister Kholoud Al-Saqqaf said Sunday that Qatari investments in Jordan valued at an estimated USD two billion.

During her meeting with the Qatari ambassador to Jordan, Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, Saqqaf added that Qatari investments were mostly in energy, real estate, stock exchange, banking and tourism services.

Al Thani voiced Qatar’s interest in promoting investment between the two countries in different fields.

He added that his country is keen on expanding investments to the fullest extent, which contributes significantly to both countries’ economies.
