Six dead in UAE floods

The UAE Ministry of Interior said Friday that it had found six victims as a result of the torrential rains that swept the country.

All six were of Asian nationality. 

The ministry added that a search is underway for another missing person.

It indicated that efforts are continuing to restore normal life to the most affected emirates in the country- Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Fujairah. 

The ministry indicated that some field units are continuing to evacuate the affected areas.
