Sunday, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, stated that at exactly 9:00am, one of the training aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force (GROB) plummeted due to a technical difficulty into empty ground during a training drill, in Ramtha, Irbid.

The source added that as a result of the crash of the aircraft, the Pilot Major, Bilal Mashhour Ahmed Al-Shoufein, and Captain Pilot Baha Muhammad Mustafa Abu Ghanmi, were pronounced dead after they were transferred to the King Abdullah University Hospital.

The Jordanian Armed Forces mourned the two martyrs and offered their condolences to the families asking God Almighty to inspire them with patience and solace.
