Jordan condemns Houthi attacks on Riyadh airport

Jordan condemned the Houthi attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that killed three Saudi citizens and injured several others, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Friday.
The attacks took place Thursday, which the ministry described as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
Ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali reaffirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for measures to protect the Kingdom’s security, stability, infrastructure and population.
Al-Majali also extended condolences to the Saudi government, people and victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Attacks escalate regional tensions
The latest strikes come amid escalating fighting involving Yemen’s Houthi movement and Saudi-backed forces.
Saudi authorities have reported deadly attacks on airports in Riyadh and Abha in recent days, with casualties and disruptions to air travel.
