Jordan on Saturday condemned what it described as a Houthi militia attack targeting King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, calling it “a violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law.”
In a statement, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the attack, as well as continued assaults targeting civilians and civilian and economic infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
The ministry described the incident as “a serious escalation and a flagrant violation” of the United Nations Charter and international law.
Jordan also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stressing its support for all measures the kingdom takes to safeguard its security, stability, national assets, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
