UAE adds Jordan to travel green list

The United Arab Emirates has added Jordan to the green list of countries from which travel to Abu Dhabi is permitted directly without quarantine measures. 

The decision came into effect Sunday at midnight. 

Armenia, the Netherlands, Kuwait, and Austria were also added to the green list. 

Vaccinated travelers arriving directly from green list countries must take a PCR test upon arrival, and on day six of his/her trip. Unvaccinated travelers must take the same tests, and an additional test on day nine. 

The number of cases in Jordan witnessed a significant decrease Saturday in comparison to Friday. The PCR positivity rate also decreased.
