Jordanian footballer Ratib al-Awadat passes away

Friday, Jordanian footballer and former team captain of Al-Faisaly football club, Ratib al-Awadat died after suffering with illness. He left Jordan on Jan. 1 to receive treatment abroad after his health condition deteriorated.

Awadat was part of the national football team and Al-Faisaly FC, and supervised the training of a number of football clubs, the most important of which was Al-Faisaly FC.
