Jordan's national carrier, Royal Jordanian Airlines, announced that all of its flights are operating normally and according to schedule, with the exception of services to Iraq, which have been suspended until further notice.
In a statement, the airline said it had decided to cancel all flights to Iraqi destinations as an immediate precautionary measure to ensure the safety of passengers and flight crews.
The decision comes in response to recent military developments in the region and the closure of some airspaces, the company said.
Royal Jordanian added that all other flights continue to operate as scheduled and that it is closely monitoring developments while coordinating with relevant authorities.
The airline did not specify when services to Iraq might resume.
