Jordan records 63 deaths and 8,300 new coronavirus cases

11/3/2021 17:07|Jordan has recorded 63 deaths and 8,300 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 457,151.
The death toll has risen to 5,169.
The cases are:
- 4,289 in Amman
- 999 in Irbid, including 69 in Ramtha
- 958 in Zarqa
- 571 in Balqa
- 328 in Karak
- 281 in Madaba
- 222 in Aqaba
- 163 in Jerash
- 155 in Mafraq
- 114 in Ajloun
- 111 in Ma'an, including 11 in petra
- 109 in Tafilah
A total of 446 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 299 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 69,033 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 3,644 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 382,949.
There are 2,431 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 54,052 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 5,053,264.
Thursday, 15.36 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
