Jordan condemns shooting at Washington press gala

Jordan condemned Sunday the shooting that took place during the annual dinner of the White House Correspondents’ Association, attended by US President Donald Trump, at a hotel in the US capital, Washington, D.C..

Spokesperson for Jordan’s Foreign Ministry, Fouad Majali, affirmed the Kingdom’s “support and full solidarity” with the United States, according to a statement.

“[Jordan] reiterated its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that seek to undermine security and stability,” it added.
