Golden Globes adjusts traditions to pandemic

For years, the famed gift bags given to Golden Globes attendees have long been known as the best part of the ceremony, as they are often filled with luxury and designer goods costing up to $10,000.

Despite the pandemic, and the Golden Globes being held virtually, organizers have found a way to ensure gift bags still get in the hands of attendees: a drive-in giveaway held in a Los Angeles parking lot. 

"That's what artists do, we adjust. And as everyone is learning how to manage, how to go on with life in their own way. We try to continue the traditions and get out here," said actress Merle Dandridge.
