Jordan records seven deaths and 865 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded seven deaths and 865 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 333,855.

The death toll has risen to 4,369.

The cases are:

  • 555 in Amman
  • 118 in Irbid, including six in Ramtha
  • 93 in Balqa
  • 48 in Mafraq
  • 25 in Zarqa
  • 15 in Ajloun
  • Four in Karak
  • Four in Jerash
  • Two in Madaba
  • One in Ma'an

A total of 90 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and two have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,996 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 934 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 319,490.

There are 418 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,703 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,004,929.

Saturday, 4.18 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
