Jordan records 10 deaths and 1,294 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 10 deaths and 1,294 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 331,768.

The death toll has risen to 4,354.

The cases are: 

-856 in Amman

-176 in Irbid, including nine in Ramtha

-62 in Zarqa

-50 in Balqa

-37 in Karak

-27 in Mafraq

-24 in Jerash

-22 in Aqaba

-17 in Madaba

-12 in Ajloun

- Nine in Tafilah

- Two in Ma'an, including one in Petra

A total of 58 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 39 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,466 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 730 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 317,948.

There are 418 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 26,830 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,962,915.

Thursday, 4.82 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
