Jordan records 23 deaths and 641 new coronavirus cases
Jordan has recorded 23 deaths and 641 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 325,674.
The death toll has risen to 4,304.
The cases are:
-354 in Amman
-122 in Irbid, including 19 in Ramtha
-65 in Balqa
-27 in Mafraq
-10 in Ajloun
- Six in Aqaba
- 36 in Zarqa
-12 in Karak
- Eight in Jerash
- One in Ma'an
A total of 52 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 27 have been discharged upon recovery.
There are a total of 7,819 active COVID-19 cases.
A total of 957 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 313,551.
There are 392 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.
A total of 15,605 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,844,913.
Saturday, 4.11 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
